Gibsons Puzzle - Kitchen Capers - Marcello Corti

Gibsons Puzzle - Kitchen Capers -Marcello Corti - 1000 Pieces.

This is the third puzzle that I have completed by Marcello Corti. The two previous puzzles that I have completed have both been Christmas Limited Editions (Santa’s Little Helpers and Christmas Cheer).
This puzzle is just totally different from the previous two Christmas Editions. It portrays a typical Country House Kitchen, with a large oven and stone floor.
The puzzle was very enjoyable to do, with lots of colour. I enjoyed doing the puzzle as it has a little black and white cat in. The cat seems to be tormenting one of the puppies. I wonder who came better off!!! The little puppies seem to be enjoying themselves I hope that they haven’t made too much of a mess with there owners slipper!!!.
The most difficult part of this puzzle had to be the dog and all of the puppies. I found that all of the legs seem to look the same.

I look forwards to this years 2011 Gibsons Limited Edition Puzzle – ‘Village Festivities’ by Marcello Corti.

Gibsons Puzzle - Living Legends - Barry Freeman

Gibsons Puzzle - Living Legends - Barry Freeman - 500 Pieces.

I really enjoy doing train puzzles, especially those by Barry Freeman.  Although, I’m sure that I have completed this puzzle once before. I seem to recall that this picture may have appeared in either Barry Freeman’s Age of Steam or Memories of Steam Puzzle.

A nice 500 piece puzzle to do. Luckily, there was not too much sky or steam. I would have liked to have seen a little more colour within the puzzle.

I can’t wait for Barry Freeman’s next train puzzle. Hopefully there won’t be too much of a wait.

Gibsons Puzzle - Castle Combe - Terry Harrison

Gibsons Puzzle - Castle Combe - Terry Harrison - 1000 Pieces

This puzzle has really brought back some childhood memories. I have lived the majority of my life in the West Country. As a child I spent many summer holiday’s in the village of ‘Castle Combe’ in the Cotswold. The only way of describing Castle Combe is as one of the loveliest villages in United Kingdom. Terry Harrison has captured how pretty the village is, with the bridge in the foreground and the medieval church in the background.

My favourite part of the puzzle was completing the old car possibly an MG. The most challenging part of the puzzle was completing the house in the foreground and getting the windows in the right place.

The only disappointment with this puzzle is that one of the pieces was damaged in the box. I can only image that this was done by the cutting machine. The piece was bent / broken into two.
