Gibsons Puzzle - Castle Combe - Terry Harrison - 1000 Pieces
This puzzle has really brought back some childhood memories. I have lived the majority of my life in the West Country. As a child I spent many summer holiday’s in the village of ‘Castle Combe’ in the Cotswold. The only way of describing Castle Combe is as one of the loveliest villages in United Kingdom. Terry Harrison has captured how pretty the village is, with the bridge in the foreground and the medieval church in the background.
My favourite part of the puzzle was completing the old car possibly an MG. The most challenging part of the puzzle was completing the house in the foreground and getting the windows in the right place.
The only disappointment with this puzzle is that one of the pieces was damaged in the box. I can only image that this was done by the cutting machine. The piece was bent / broken into two.
